Foods that help fight off EBV

Foods to eat to help fight EBV
Food has been my main weapon against EBV. I can certainly tell when I've eaten something unhealthy because with in an hour I am feeling slow, tired & foggy minded. Right back to square one! So I've tried to modify my diet in a way where I can still have some treats, but yet the majority of my diet is healthy foods that keep me full of energy & alert through out the day. Even at 2pm which used to be the time of day I just crashed on the couch!!
In my research I found a newsletter written by Dan Jackowiak. His article dealt with fighting yeast infections, but as I read it, I found so many similarities between the symptoms of the two viruses! I signed up for his newsletter & have found SO many helpful tips to implement into my day to day life. He has the most comprehensive list of healthy foods to eat anywhere. And even though he had yeast infections in mind while writing his newsletter, it has worked in my personal dealings with EBV. I've started to eat more green vegetables, less meats & dairy & try VERY hard to stay away from sugar. But I do allow myself some every now & then. If I deprive myself of something, I fail. So a treat every now & then is okay, in MY book! You can check out Dan's website for yourself at yeastinfectionadvisor.com. I think you will find it very helpful. Even if you do not have a life long virus or any disease, his advice will improve anyone's life!
Here is a quick link to his newsletter about healthy foods. It is too comprehensive to write out here, so follow this link to better eating! http://www.yeastinfectionadvisor.com/candidadiet.html. Remember, his focus is yeast infections, so you don't have to follow his diet completely, but do try to make some of the changes he suggests. Pay attention to how you feel with each change you make & fine tune the diet to your personal preferences.
Good luck on your journey with EBV. It has been a very educational one for me! I hope you'll discover some things about yourself as well! God Bless!
