How to feel good while living with Epstein Barr Virus

By EBV

You've been told you have EBV. Now what?

I was diagnosed with EBV this past Feb. & my doctor did not have any advice for me other than to rest. When you are a mother of 2 tween girls & run a daycare in your home, resting isn't always an option.

EBV is a hard virus to live with. You may experience many symptoms such as skin rash, muscle aches, slurred or garbled speech, memory loss & last but not least, the fatigue!!! So in order to function throughout the day, I went on a mission to find a natural way to treat myself.

I found there is not a lot of information out there about how to treat EBV. Mostly what I foundĀ are all the bad things associated with the virus. So a lot of what I've been doing is trial & error with different vitamins, supplements, healthy foods & a positive attitude.

With this blog, I hope to help people like me who have this virus & are looking to feel better! There is no medical way to treat a virus, but you can diminish the symptoms just by changing the way you eat & drink. I want to share with you all that I have tried, what has worked for me, & if I find something new in the future, pass that along as well!

Thank you for visiting my blog! I hope you check back often!

Hi, I had mono/EBV when I was 28 and boy was the worst month of my life. I occasionally get that run-down feeling (not quite like then) & tonilitis/strep. In fact I'm just getting over a bout now & possibly for the 3rd time over the last year. I'd love to hear about your ideas. thanks!

Hi Bob! That run down feeling is the EBV coming back. It isn't always as strong as your first time around, but it is enough to make you know something is wrong! I have written 1 more blog on this topic concerning sugar & it's affects on a virus such as EBV. Check it out! I hope to write some more in the future, just been busy w/life at the moment! :)
